Ugg boots have got to be one of the worst trends that have ever plagued fashion. 
They've been going strong for years now. When will this stop? Please make it stop. I suppose they must be comfortable, but since when does comfort have anything to do with fashion? Even more ridiculous is that these sheep herder boots are often seen at the beach or with shorts. UGG for sure, or should I say FUG? Even worse. "Australian" Ugg Boots are made in China.
Just as an FYI, the ugg boots were originally worn by surfers to keep them warm after a long day of surfing. HENCE, the look was originally worn with shorts to begin with

Actually, these boots were worn by rural sheep herders and farmers in the 19th century and later by aviators in both World War I & II. Not until the 1970s did they become popular with surfers.
